Cotes de Provence
Although Provence is the historic cradle for the cultivation of rosé wine in France, red and white wines are not simply residual since taken together they represent 15% of Provencal wine production. The designation Côtes de Provence in the Domaine de Tournels wine-producing estate brings together several vintages at once in the form of rosé, white and red. On the other hand the bottles with the “Hauts de Tournels” labels are exclusively red wines produced in oak casks. Owing to our ancestral know-how, our rosés are renowned wines and, as such rewarded! The “Spéciale” and “Rayne” cuvées were awarded gold medals at the Paris Salon de l'Agriculture in 2013 and 2014, owing to their exceptionally fruity flavours, which are typical of the Var terroir.
Our Côte de Provences rosés are generous, delicate and subtle wines which combine perfectly with entirely different dishes. They have the ability to seduce you under any circumstances, by accompanying your apéritifs, starters, main courses or desserts. The distinctive feature of our rosés wines, is their capacity to be served with various types of dishes, whether more or less sophisticated. For example, they go with a sushi course, grilled meats or assorted cold meats, Provençal stuffed vegetables, a fresh cheeseboard, a summer fruits basket or even a lamb tagine. All such social occasions can be shared with our rosé wines!
